Jeff was invited to give an oral presentation at the 2006, 5th International Conference on Tularemia in Woods Hole, MA as well as the 2005 Pacific Northwest Francisella conference in Victoria, BC.
2005 Corporate Activities Student Travel Grant was given to Jeff to attend the ASM meeting in Orlando, FL.
2005 Kaplan Award for Outstanding Poster Presentation at the Texas ASM branch meeting for Jeff’s poster titled “Francisella tularensis virulence factors required for intramacrophage survival”.
